Nampa Housing Market Defies Mortgage Rates as Buyer Demand Surges

If you've been waiting for higher mortgage rates to slow down the Nampa housing market, June's numbers tell a different story.
Compared to a year ago, more homes sold, more homes went under contract, and home prices remained stable. At the same time, buyers had more homes to choose from than they did last summer.
Perhaps the most surprising trend? Nearly two-thirds of sellers offered concessions to help buyers afford today's higher mortgage rates.
